No, the cost of construction is by donations only and not from any tax money. The operating costs such as emptying trash and maintenance items will be covered by anual registration fees and daypass fees paid by the users of the dog park.

Yes ,as with most dog parks studied, there is a small annual fee to register yor dog. This is to be sure all dogs are current on their shots and the registration fees will be 100% dedicated to the dog park for operating and improvements.Park & Rec Dept will do the registration.
Vistors or occasional users will pay a small $2 daypass fee at the entry area just like a compground fee.

Rules will be established based on the best experiences of other dog parks studied.
The rules will be posted  at  park entry area and be a part of registering your dog.

The Park will have bag dispensors & trash cans for each owner to pickup and dispose of the dogs waste.

Each dog must be verfied as having currect vacinations via the Day Pass or the Annual registration of your dog/s with Park & Rec department.

Each owner will be responsible for a dogs behavior and any aggressive behavior or tendencies require the dog be removed immediately.The dog registration process will include declaring that ones dog is not aggressive toward people nor other dogs.

Visiting dogs & their owners can use the dog park two ways:

1. Annual Pass:  If they visit often, owners can register for an annual pass at the Park & Rec office just like local folks.
   
2. Day Pass: If visits are not often, visitors may purchase a Day Pass for a small fee at the park entry. This is similar to checking into a campground and paying a fee. This Day Pass will ask visiting dog owners to accept responsibility for their dog and verify in writing that the dog has current vaccinations and has no agressive tendancies.
   Fees have not been set but will be similar to other dog parks studied in our planning stages.
